Taking you back to the days of Wigan Casino, The Touch and The Twisted Wheel, the vinyl will be spinning again with the help of our top local resident DJs Carl Piper (The Phoenix Club, Kingsway Hall), Ian Gee (Chesterfields Godfather of Soul) and joined by our national guest DJs Smudge Smith, John Manship (Classic Cleethorpes Set) and Ted Massey, they will make this a night to remember.

Joe Longthorne


Joe’s repertoire of voices is endless and includes hundreds of the world’s top singers, however, he is perhaps best known for his impersonation of Shirley Bassey who has commented, “Joe can do me better than I can do myself”.

Liam D’Arcy-Brown has navigated the entire 1,115 miles of the Grand Canal from Hangzhou to Beijing. It is the world’s longest and oldest canal dating back to 483BC.

Dr. Geraint Coles, the Development Manager for the Chesterfield Canal, will give details about the Chesterfield Waterside development and how the 9 mile gap between Staveley and Kiveton Park can be restored, allowing boats into the heart of Chesterfield for the first time since 1907.
